Website Terms & Legal Information
Important information about PVP Transport Consultancy Ltd, the use of this website and the boundaries of the services described here.
About these terms
These terms apply when you visit or use this website. By continuing to use the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
General information—not legal advice
PVP provides practical transport-management and compliance support. Information on this website is general information and does not constitute legal advice. It should not be treated as a substitute for advice based on the specific facts of an individual operation or regulatory matter.
Transport law, regulatory guidance and accreditation standards can change. Although reasonable care is taken when preparing website content, visitors should confirm that information remains current before relying on it.
Services and client engagements
Nothing on this website creates a consultant-client relationship, appointment as a Transport Manager or obligation for PVP to provide services. Any work will begin only after the proposed scope, responsibilities, fees and applicable terms have been agreed separately in writing.
The description of a service on this website is an overview. The precise work PVP agrees to perform will be set out in the relevant proposal, appointment or service agreement.
Operator and Transport Manager responsibilities
Operators and nominated Transport Managers retain their own statutory and regulatory responsibilities. Using consultancy support does not transfer or remove those responsibilities.
PVP cannot guarantee the outcome of an operator-licence application, Traffic Commissioner or DVSA decision, compliance investigation, audit, Public Inquiry, FORS application or other accreditation process.
Legal and enforcement matters
PVP does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Serious enforcement matters, threatened or active Public Inquiries, appeals and other legal disputes may require advice from a specialist transport solicitor or another appropriately qualified adviser.
Website use and copyright
Unless otherwise stated, the wording, design, branding and original material on this website belong to PVP Transport Consultancy Ltd. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own internal business use. You must not reproduce, publish, sell, alter or commercially exploit website material without prior written permission.
You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce harmful material or use the website in a way that could damage its operation or another person’s rights.
External links
This website may link to official guidance or third-party websites for convenience. PVP does not control those websites and is not responsible for their availability, security or content. A link does not imply endorsement.
Liability
PVP takes reasonable care to keep this website accurate and available, but does not promise that it will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or free from errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PVP is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information or from temporary unavailability of the website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Liability relating to paid consultancy services will be governed by the separate written agreement for those services.
Privacy
Information about how personal details are handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes, law and jurisdiction
PVP may update these terms when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply by law.
