I know what good compliance has to look like in the real world

I set up PVP after more than 25 years working in transport operations. My experience includes senior responsibility across six depots and a fleet of more than 100 HGVs, with responsibility for the vehicles, drivers, maintenance and standards that keep a busy operation moving.

I understand that compliance is only one of the pressures an operator deals with each day. Customers still need serving, drivers need managing and vehicles need to be available. The systems therefore have to be clear, workable and consistently followed—not simply look good in a file.

When I review an operation, I look for what is genuinely working, where the risk sits and which actions will make the biggest difference. I will explain that plainly, agree clear priorities with you and keep the work properly documented.

My aim is not to make compliance sound complicated. It is to give directors, operators and Transport Managers a clear picture of where they stand and practical help getting the right controls in place.
